Europe forecasts map

Forecast of temperature, wind speed and direction, precipitation, snow, and cloud cover in Europe, up to 72 hours. The maps, made available by the platform developed within the Mistral project, are automatically generated using the numerical weather model Cosmo-5M, which provides forecasts for the Italian region with a grid step of 5 km.

The Cosmo meteorological model is developed as part of an international collaboration between the national meteorological services of Italy, Germany, Greece, Israel, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Switzerland, members of the Cosmo consortium. The Cosmo-Lami 5M model is developed in collaboration between Arpae Emilia-Romagna,  Arpa Piemonte, National Civil Protection Department, and theItalian Air Force.
